It is Cannabis’ natural analgesic (pain killing) properties that can ease menstrual cramps.
Cannabis can additionally relieve the nausea (morning sickness) of pregnancy.
There are of course fears that any form of smoking during pregnancy can have serious, detrimental effects on the unborn child. It is probably due to this taboo that little 20th century research has been undertaken.
